Default NEW CORVETTE

I was just wondering if anyone was sure about some of the information on the new corvette. I heard that they would have around 500bhp. Are there any Pictures of them yet?

Thanks!

I think some time will heal the wounds, but it's still a lot less polished and smooth than the last model. It's a big jump from the clear evolution... and the C5 just looked sexier.

Is it truly 6th generation, or 5.5? Anyone know how overhauled the actual platform is?

it is definitely a 6th gen. this has been beaten to death a corvetteforum.com. and i know it hasn't been beaten to death here, but to me its all the same. this is not a 5th gen with a body kit.

If you want to check on what is going on at the NAIAS, check out this site
http://autoshow.msn.com/as/autoshow2...e&pos=EditLead
Not only do they have hourly updates on what is being introduced, they may have info on the cars themselves, specifications and such. Every year I visit this site at Auto Show time and check in at least a couple of times a day. They have some vids of the new 'Vette too.

On the side view, it kinda looks a bit like a C4 corvette (the side windows alot squarer then the C5)

And what the hell is with corvette ingravement in the bottom right hand side of the rear of the car? I miss it being in the center

But besides those minor niggles, it looks GREAT 8)
