Default Attack Of The Green Slime

Heres a car that was featured in Hot Rod a while ago. This is probably my favourite corvette of all time because its such a good all-around performer. The car makes almost 700 rear-wheel horse power. The thing that stood out most for me about this corvette is this; "27.5 miles per gallon on the highway."!!! Thats friggin amazing. Its much better than out Plymouth Voyageur was (23mpg) and about the same as our new Honda Pilot. It just goes to show what you can do with an old school engine and some modern technology. that's amazing. isn't that the same one they tested in car and driver? if it is, it still lost to the lingenfelter vette. either way, they both are insane.

On the fourth picture up from the bottom, what are those little "cans" that are attached to the rollcage?

I've seen a black mallet corvette. Watched as he passed my iroc on road atlanta. Truly impressive. He blew something in the engine though and was back the second day in a viper.

Really nice looking car! Like that green color. Looks nice together with the black on the car.

Think that the remote gas reservoirs also for improve cooling of the dampers. The other adjuster is hard to reach also...

It is one and the same car - whic hwas a rebuild of the previous Mallet that entered the 10,000hp Shootout they held.

Wait - give it 17m:37s and some yahoo will come along with a story of a Veilside Skyline that does everything better, quicker, lighter, blah, blah , blah..

This is not RacingFlix.... That Skyline will never come. Altough I've seen a crazy Jun Skyline, similar to the one in Clarkson's vid (I don't remeber which one, because I don't have any of them anymore) that had 1000 hp.

I like that Vette, but I hate the color...

me too, green just doesn't go wit the vette. and the interior look pretty cheap for me.

Yep thats the great thing about these really tall 6 speed cars. I have a little over 600 at the crank and still get about 30mpg at 80mph @1850 RPM. I absolutely love it. You can get great performance, and great cruising ability. The Corvette 6 speed is a very drivable car even when heavily modified!!

Speaking of which, what the HELL is your avatar. I know I've seen that before somewhere but I can't remember where.
