I hate to say it but he's right. You'd be hard pressed to find another car with those numbers for that price. Still doesnt mean Im suddenly a mustang lover because most....most of their owners are still idiots, but it does prove maybe Ford is headed in the right direction for once. Personally if I had that kind of money Id just spend a little more on one of these http://www.cadillac.com/09ctsv/

The SVT chief said that some of the coming tests will have very near 4.0 0-60 runs, and 12.2-3 1/4 mile runs... VERY impressive for such a heavy car...

from what I understand the GT500 is 50k and the base price of the CTS-V is 58k. Was I looking at the wrong numbers?

Trying to get a dealer to part with one fo ranything close to sticker is the problem.. for both cars.

In town the are still 3 TrakAttack Rouche Mustangs sitting unsold 1 year later - and the dealer still wont budge from stocker now. Last year he was tring to get $10K over sticker.

It's not bad for an overweight Ford though - they are ignoring the effects all that weight will have on tyre and brake pad life during repeated laps though...

Unless it is aimed at just being a "time attack wonder" like the GT-R.
