yea i would agree as to not much quicker, as im not knocking on the NSX as i think its still a great car (could use a redesign ) but i would have bet a lot of money that the NSX would be beaten. oh well.

The vette didnt have a chance at beating the nsx. its a legendary car and aryton senna helped in the creation of it. thats another reason why the design has not changed, they've found a good thing, and are not going to change radically.
and i watched the vid again, the nsx did not jump the line, its just a bloody quick car. no suprise to me the nsx flogged the vette

An awd car is going to beat a massive rear wheel drive in the wet and we are talking british wet here, they pratically invented wet.
Two things

1) It was completely dry
2) All the cars were RWD anyway

Finally, why do people keep mentioning the Z06 !!

The only reason the vette lost is that hammond does not know how to drive. Vette should have raped the NSX. Hell, a stock C5 would stay with a stock NSX in a drag race.

Haha, welp, the reason the vette lost was because they probly only did one take during that portion of the filming. OR Hammonds reaction time is very slow. Another far away excuse was that it was a pre-production model. But who cares, everyone knows what the ZO6 can do and since the new C6 can match it in a straight line, it will undoubtedly beat the NSX, ceterus paribus.

I hope they review the new ZO6 model when that comes out

I'm pretty sure it wasn't a Type R. I didn't see the carbon fibre wing or front lip.
