Default Black Mustang Boss 302 *unfinished, need help*

hey,
this is my first real scale car... its a mustang boss 302, i think the brand is hot rod or something like that.
and i have a problem... in the last pic i will explain:
this is the car and the parts:

here is the prob:

i cant stick that into that and make it stay...

the glue is not strong enough,andthe gap is too big cause it doesnt fit perfect...


this is what i have, i hope this is the right stuff...

You probably need to get some more caustic glue. Testors makes some pretty good model cement, or you could resort to superglue, but watch that you don't get it on your hands.

is it just the seat?
i find spreading the glue around the edges of the seat works best. when manufacturers mold the seat fittings, its always a loose fit. so maybe the glue isn't bonding the two contact points. other than that change glue

well for now its just the seat... cause i cant put it together an put the rest... so for now it is.
ill try gluing again, i will post updates haha

Take care woth super glue. The fumes will fog any clear plastic near bye and will stick to any fringer prints and leave an aweful mess .
