This is a serious, serious improvement on all previous Lancers.

meh...boring  I seriously expected more out of the concept. I hope the Evo looks a lot more aggressive.

^The Lancer was never intended to be an exciting sort of car, though. It's a cheap, small car, which does the job.

Here are some drawings of the Prototype X. Reminder: Mitsubishi is clearly not denying that this prototype is meant to be a real model for the new Evo X! Let's hope it stays this way, IMO

You beat me to those images by just 10 seconds!

Anyway, they are of the Prototype X which is going to be shown in January in Detroit.

I hope it's not too much different from the Concept X which we've had so far as this
has been created to give a clear and accurate design vision for the next generation of Mitsubishi’s iconic supercar, the much anticipated and all-new Lancer Evolution.
It will sit alongside the rest of the standard Lancer range at the Detroit show.

Prototype-X

(Imageshack was down)

For me, the front is not quite right yet, it was better on the Concept-X but still, it's looking promising!

^It's actually quite refreshing! I do not know why, but I prefer single sided exhaust instead of the dual setup. The hoodscoop also make the front seems abit busy. Other than that, I think it's a pretty good design.
