Default turbo s 996 or wait 2 - 3 years

Dilema: Do you buy the turbo S 996 cab or do you wait up to 3 years for the new 997 turbo to come out....?????????? Now when I mean wait thats coz im here in Australia. so where always behind on stuff

i would say buy a 996 turbo, worth every penny, then, trade it in for a new 997 turbo..might have to wait a lil but but, also worth it

Buy the turbo now and when you get bored with it or when you want the new one, then trade.

Definetly buy the Turbo now...the 997 won't even be that much different most likely, just uglier.

thanks heaps for the input totally appreciate it. The GT3RS I like as well however I want the cake and want to eat the lot hence I'm looking at the 996TT in the Cab version. Ok decision made then.............again thanks

Yeah, I like the 996 more too, especially the headlights, even though they aren't "traditional porsche". I think it looks modern and very proggressive. Probably because all the new cars have this single cluster headlamps.

Where as teh 997 looks retro.

But that is just me though .

So you've driven/seen the 997TT?!?!? What factory do you work at? I've visited the Cayenne/CGT factory in Leipzig when we picked our Cayenne TT up there... Gorgeous....
