The 3200 has the 'boomerang' lights, while the 4200 has the normal ones (like the pic below) - thats the most obvious exterior difference



The 3200 used a twin-turbo V8 whereas the 4200 has a 4.2L N/A V8

Also, the 4200GT has the Maserati emblem on the bonnet, the 3200GT hasn't so you don't have to turn around the car every time to check

^ yes we can, but can you tell the difference between a 3200 and 4200 from the front at a greater distance? :roll:
