^Different situation. No men perform synchronised swimming so it's just a moot point. Women are excluded from amateur boxing in a number of jurisdictions, such as my state, so it would just be unfair as it's not global enough a sport.

well to discriminate against a sex is wrong and to not allow women to due something cause of certain states is ridiculous got to start somewhere. do they allow mens boxing were ur from

^Yes, of course, both professional and amateur. We are the city which gave the world the idiotic Anthony Mundine.

I see no reason why women aren't allowed to box. It's not like they're applying to be naval clearance divers or the Special Air Service. But they can't, so it's not widespread enough to be an Olympic sport, unfortunately.
