I can recommend VLC too, I've never found anything it won't play and it doesn't take up loads of memory like some (admittedly better looking) players do.

Try to play real media player file in VLC. It fails. VLC hasnt much features and thats why it doesnt use much system resources.

Media Player Classic, which is included with the K-Lite Codec Pack. Works on everything, and I think there are something like 4 billion settings you can change just in the player itself.

Ive used BSplayer for quite a while since it plays many things.

But I can recommend VLC aswell, that just plays everything!

I use Combined Community Codec packs to play 90% of my media files, use VLC for rest.

You should give Gomplayer a try.
It's free and I'm yet to find something it doesn't play.
It even plays incomplete torrent files (those *.!ut)

Second this, it is the best player and it is free. Small filesize but will play it all (Even .Bin files or .ISO)

It does look like shit visually, but who cares... everyone sees the videos in full screen anyway.
