'Forgetting Sarah Marshall'

well put together...very funny, not the typical romantic comedy cliche.

Traitor, go see it, 9/10. It could have been done better, and may be slow for some who expect action every minute, but well worth your time. It's doesn't have the outrageous, exaggerated death defying scenes from the Bond or Bourne movies, but that makes it a little more realistic. The baddies have depth and don't have maniacal laughs or gimmicky traits and appearances. There's also a little funny (IMO) twist at the end.

MIRRORS...

8/10 for a horror flick, thriller, it is quite refreshing and does not do the things you expected like sudden jumps to scare you, it actualy weaves a story, I liked the way it was going up until the end, for all the crap that guy went through, the ending destroyed the movie for me, it was like the director prematurely ejaculated and the last 10 minutes of the movie were done by a stunt C***
it will not win any photography awards as most shots are static with unfocused backgrounds, the cheesy obviously people behind a curtain mirror effect was bad, some CG would have been nice for those shots

Death Race... Fell asleep half way through. Was expecting more.
The bank job - fantastic. Loved it. (Statham in a lot lately?)
Wall-E - great movie. 9/10.

Eagle Eye was great. I really enjoyed it. Only got a 25% from Rotten Tomatoes. They must have seen a different movie. Yeah there are some plot holes you could drive a truck through and the Eagle Eye computer looks alot like some other Movies and video games but the car chase secenes are fantastic. Plot has you jumping in your seat the whole two hours. Shia is ten times better in this movie than Indiana Jones. I even liked Billy Bob which is rare for me. Michelle is so hot. I give it an A- but remember I like movies.

Body of Lies was good but a bit slow at times, I'd give it 7.5-8/10.

Skip Max Payne like the plague. Two thumbs down. Horrible plot, action, and acting. The special fx was mediocre, the action scenes uninspiring and predictable...blah. I think this one's almost as bad as Redline, maybe worse!

Saw Quarantine. Pretty good horror flick. Didn't take my seasick pills before hand like I did with Cloverfield so the jiggly camera work got me queasy about half an hour into it. Pretty good plot very realistic. Somewhat plausible, certainly more than Cloverfield. I'd give it a B+, but remember I like movies. Won't ever see it again, cause me and jerky camera work just don't get along.

I watched An American Carol. It was pretty good. Despite it having an obvious right wing agenda, it wasn't a documentary or a mockumentary of sorts. I don't want to say that the movie doesn't take itself seriously, because there is a real message in there, but it's loaded with tongue in cheek humor. And it's just a very telling social commentary.
