Honda vehicles usually have about a 4 year run until they are redesigned, but of course the S2000 is not following that trend. They recently added some minimal changes(headlights, taillights, slight engine modification, etc), so we know it has passed the half way point in its design life.

I will guess that Honda will come out with a new S2000 as a 2008 or 2009 model.

I heard rumors that this is the last year of production for this S2000. I can only hope for a replacement ASAP so when I get some $$$ I can pick one up.

rumors inside say that the S2000 is going to meet it's end along with the Integra/RSX but will be replaced with a new model.

^ Zot, actually now most Honda models have a 6 year cycle. I think they switched over during the last generation of Accords, but pretty much during the 80s and 90s it has been 4 year cycles.

If you look at the Honda forums and the S2000 forums, they've been saying that rumor since 2002 or so.

I think that it'll probably last at least another 2 years or so under the current facelift.

Remember the NSX lasted 16 years . And the Integra lasted 8 years.

As long as they keep it a convertible I'm happy.

S2000 is going to be a front wheel drive car!! NO!!!!

FF ONLY STANDS FOR ONE THING. FRONT ENGINE FRONT WHEEL DRIVE

Hyundai is replacing an FF car with an FR, Honda is replacing an FR with an FF.

What is this world coming to.

The NSX is very different than an NSX.

An NSX is something more special, more directed, with a special cliente.

The S2000 is more "to the masses..." even though I can't afford this "to the masses" car!
