Default Houston - 30 Oct -[Video]P911, Z06, 350Z etc + AC Cobras...

Yesterday I called a couple friends and asked if they wanted to go for a blast through the woods.

These are the chaps that showed up at 9am this morning.

p.s. The video setup was working... the bloody thing had blown a fuse... so last time out, a little 50c 7.5amp fuse is all that was needed to get the video rig working...

p.p.s. - My incar video had a little lighting issue (highlights too bright) so I had to settle for the footage from a Camcorder I passed around.

Nice little drive you put together :good: Do you have any pic of the two Vettes alone?

As for the Cobras, none seem to be a "real" one, but the orange is damn sexy!

Sorry, we didn't do much picture taking - yesterday was more about the driving. I need to schedule a time to get the cars togethr for a "photo shoot".

And yeah - the Cobras were all hybrid kits.. but then again, so were the originals.. That's why, when I see Cobras around, to me they are still Cobras - powerful engines in a lightweight body tied to an unsophisticate dyet decent handling chassis.

I would imagine many modern kits with Jaguar suspension are probably as good as if not better all round handlers than the originals.

Besides if you look at the drivers - they make up for the missing 40 years in the cars ages...
