Info on Porsche 718 needed...

[Chaos in 1983!]

There's a small classics car show in my town at the moment, and on display is a white Porsche 718 from 1958, I did a small reasearch on the car and found out it isn't quite common...how many were produced?, stanger, could you give me some more info on this car, it quite hard to find it on the net.

This car is from El Salvador, and if it is that rare I really really doubt it is real, is there anyway of knowing if it is real without looking
at the engine?

well the show was over about a month ago...sadly I coulnd't take pics since I never went back that sunday...but the car was bought by a local at the show, so now it is here un my city, I have to find out who bought it and look for it...until then, I'll have to give the car the benefit of a doubt...

I have some info on the 718rsk, but only at home...

For what I remember, it is based on the 550 Spyder, but lot less exclusive.
