Damn dude that sucks. You would really enjoy Linux! BTW stay away from Knopix. I dont like that very much. Try Ubuntu if you are a first time user. Download the Live CD iso and burn it to a CD and boot from CD and try it out. If it meets all your demands programs wise then I will be more than happy to help you out on how to install.

I started off with Fedora Core 3 I believe? It was hard and pain in the ass at first. Then fast forward a few years and Ubuntu comes out and everything is just plain and simple to install, almost like windows!

Do you use disk clean up regualary and clear your cookies and shit and what not?

Sorry for the late response Sir_GT.
Nope no issues with Ubuntu, except that I dont know of a dreamweaver alternative for Linux.

Anyways try out the Free live cd. No installing anything at all. Just burn ISO to CD then reboot computer and boot from CD drive and bam you will be good to go.

Cheers PR. I picked up a copy of WinXP Lite from ellen though. Let's see how it goes.

Alright hopefully that will work out. BTW if you want a Lite weight Linux Distro I totally forgot to mention Slax! Its pretty damn good too. Please tell me how you like using Linux when you get a chance.
