If it will really look like that than itīs by far the best looking compared to C-Class and 3-series  Who cares if it looks like the A5 since that was a beauty to start with...

THANK YOU!!!! I'm glad I'm not the only one. It looks pretty good, but whereas the current car has nice taught lines, this B8 looks like it's achieved some middle-aged weight around the middle. The character line that runs along the bodyside shouldn't dip in the middle like that, makes the car look heavy, and loose rather than nice and tight like the B7 and B5

i cant see nothing like the 300C in this new A4..

Anyways..I can't tell how dissapointed I am..the old (current) A4 looks soooo good...much better than the C-Klasse and 3-series..Don't get me wrong..I like the A5 design..but It should only belong to the A5 itself...the A4 should have a whole diffrent design.

As i said i think itīs a great idea to base the A4s design on the A5s. Why not? As long as it isnīt exactly the same and one can tell the difference itīs fine since the A5 is a beauty.

There is definitely something wrong with these photoshop illustrations of the supposed-to-be next A4 B8. These show nothing more than a four-door A5 which I am certain are far away from what the actual A4/B8 is going to be. I sincerely hope that AUTOBILD-Hueckfeldt's illustrations are closer to reality (note that these also include a Sportback version of the A4 - see Autobild's website)
(NB: sorry for not including the links. I cannot apparently post such since I am new to this forum... silly).

In any case, it doesn't make sense to build and sell a look-alike of the A5. While it is certain that both cars will share the same B8 chassis, the similitude is probably going to stop there.

By the way, there are also illustrations on AutoBild's website about an A5 four-door Avant which look quite similar to the supposed-A4 illustrations posted here.

I think the renderings are pretty cool. It looks like a four-door A5 because the A5 is supposed to be a two-door A4...

^ Why? Whats wrong about that? I think it makes the car very special and better looking than the new C-Class and BMW 3 series.

Has Audi ever made an ugly car in it's entire history?

Umm, probably need to refresh your memory but their cars back in the 80s through the 90s weren't really all that great.

The last generation B7 A4 looks a million times better than this Flame Surface wannabe. Given that BMW/Chris Bangle & Company is not necessarily a good thing to emulate.

I don't think so, because they're boring !

Some manufactures make cars with a design that you rather love it or hate it, others, most like VW, Audi and specially Mercedes, make cars that no one can say that are ugly! That's why most of them don't easily excite me.
