The M's will be N/A.

This isn't the first time BMW has used a turbo for their gas engines. Just look at it this way, now BMW can pound Mercedes in every aspect

The car looks hideous. Sorry. It's not eye-catching or remarkable at all. Worst 3-series ever IMO.

Audi's RS4 will definitely be far better looking than the next M3. BMW better come up with some real substance, otherwise I expect the sales figures to tip towards the RS4's favour.

Exactly, the pioneer of the 3 series was the 2002 (the model shown by Dani) and as far as I know it was even the first car which introduced the turbo

On the other hand, actually I dont like the current 3 series coupe too much...although it looks better than the 7 series, the 1 series or the 6 series its clearly a step backward compared to the E46, although IMO the E36 is much more beautiful than the E46

I like this idea I mean BMW make some of the sweetes NA engines on the planet so why not make turbo version of one them? But I think the new S4 is so sweet that buyers will look straght past it they need to get the new M3 out

latest info

"To all intent and purpose: The new BMW 3-series Coupe."

"Artists take their inspiration to canvas, ours take theirs to the road."

"Where dynamism and efficiency can now be used in the same sentence."

"Performance without penalty."

"3.0-liter six-cylinder engine with direct injection and turbo charging."

330 PS

The embargo still on. Even on Monday and further. Sorry.
But the major BMW distributors and press are still getting the press kit this week.
Expect first teasers in auto press.

Anyway, I see quite a bit of contradiction if BMW introduces some turbo since the BMW president has been boasting many many times that BMW is capable of making engines which produces a similar amount of power and torque to the supercharged engines (he was refering to Audi and Merc) but with the aspirated engines

And naturally the turbo engines will ruin his comments; see what happens anyway

I´m quite surprised that the Coupe is getting such a strong new engine. The magazines i read did not have this info strangely...

0-60 in 6 seconds seems kind of slow for a 330bhp car.

I don't think the car can possibly have a 6 second 0-60 time if it has 330hp ae86_16v. That would make it slower than the previous and current generation 330i, which just would not make any sense at all.

I know, all I am saying is that is what the article is speculating that it'll be around 6 seconds for 0-60 miles per hour. And yes that is pretty slow. So I guess it must be pretty heavy then.

"BMW's published number for the E46 330i is 6.4 with manual. It's down to 5.9 with the Performance Package (ZHP). The recently published number from BMW for the E90 is 6.1 with manual. No mention yet of a Performance Package."

335i will do 0-100 in 5.5 sec according to BMW pressrelease. I bet carmags will get better times than that, just like they did with M5/M6.
