So eventually we should see photos of cars parking next to your auties car - as we broadent he scope of "What You Drive" to include any car seen in the same town.

The point is you need a standard and then stick to it.

Otherwise where do you draw the line?

One day he will get to drive them, and when that happens - he (or anyone esle) get's to post up in the "What You Drive" section.

Perhaps we need a "What Your Closest Living Relative Drives" section.

If his dad owns them then he probably will be driving them one day, if not already, so I think its fine him showing his dads cars.

HAs going too fast in your Boxster affected your logic processor?

The point is "Where do you draw the line?"

This seciton was established to show What you drive

Not what your dad or mum or uncle or baby sitter drives.

THAT is the point.

The entire puropse was for people to showcase their rides.. not "cash in on dads collection"

So again - where do we draw the line - rules are rules - right?

No one said they are not his dads, or that they are not cool... but the point is I would much rather read about a guy who posts his first car, say a used VW Polo and proudly displays it for everyone to enjoy, than someone posting their dads colleciotn.

Again, that is the point.

The cars are great - no one says they are not, but lets at least work towrads preserving the integrity of the community

He could show those cars in car chat, WYST or where ever - but What You Drive should remain just that.

Afterall, he already said he is not allwoed to drive em Maybe we can move the topic until he is allowed to drive em

Why not get dad to post about his cars - that would be the proper way to do it.

Oh - and I wouldn't want you to enjoy my comments, they are meant to chastise, not congratulate.

Yep I agree it does make sense thinking about it, but I am not bothered if it stays here or is moved elsewhere.

Well - it doesn't really matter where it goes.. just as long as the redheaded stepchild agrees with me on something -- I bet you he had no idea we were 2 peas in a pod.. he is so like me Ibet you he wants to vomit...
