Many pilots of the time were the opinion that a fighter pilot in a closed cockpit was an impossible thing, because you should smell the enemy. You could smell them because of the oil they were burning.

ill cirtainly put my hand up.... its rouch that i think has the most impressive work for a race ready/street legal setup..... totally kick ass

take an 03 mustang cobra
remove the supercharger
basically turn it into the ford racing 4.6
remove the suspension/shocks/sway bars

holy crap.... over 1 g laterally, and over 400 hp N/A

i love Saleens as well, and lost many times to a S351 ? on Gratiot ave. totally fast, totally sweet

They are Ok cars , the Cobra is surely a classic , but the saleen is just not ok ... cant outperform the rivals and its the same price ( carrera gt , mc merc )

I am sure this topic refers primarily to CVobra and Saleen Mustang variants.
