LOL well i guess for that time i was very impressive..given that the Beetles from the '50s often had a hard time reaching 110kph (about 66 mph)
Thanks for the scan, its fun to read (although i wonder if any1 is really interested in all those numbers of for instance space between window posts etc etc etc...)

I was surprised by the quality and professionalism of the writer. Not that they couldn't write in those days, but the car had barely been invented 30 years earlier, so I expected the car journalism of those days to be slightly less thorough. It's not that different from now actually. Of course they judged cars by other standards than today.

Nice scan. It was an interesting read.
