That is a really impressive time !! As fast as a CGT ... this car owners would deserve an upgrade to not being beaten by a "lesser" car

It's really impressive what the new 997 GT2 can do in the hands of a racing master like Röhrl. :shock:

:roll: Again typical german bullshit in action

An anonymus driver with an almost stock Gixxer, WITH TRAFFIC got 7.35

That Honda is a few HP shy than the Suzuki, had no traffic, pro biker yet it got 8.12

German credibility at work

just for the tyres it had. Bridgestone BT002 Pro Race.
put race tyres on a car and see how fast they are. same thing with race tyres on bikes.

Yes, thats great Ramminus - of all the variables imaginable, the nationality of the driver is what matters. Stock engine, built engine, worn stock suspension, race suspension, race tires... does'nt matter. If the driver is german, its bs.

The GT2 is impressive, massive gain on the already stupidly fast 997 turbo!

Nissan GT-R: 7mn38sec... So close, but their target was the Bi Turbo. I guess they will come back with a more hardcore Club version to beat the GT2 time.
++++
Sorry, just noticed that it's an old news -, and that they used cut slick... Porsche is still he king of the ring!

The GT2 will be nasty. Cant wait for a Scud vs GT2 showdown. Rorhl did a 7:28 for the CGT so the GT2 is not as fast on the Ring. Rorhl drove both. I think it was Sarna that did the 7:32 in the CGT so I guess you could say its as fast as a CGT on the Ring but not ultimately.

F430 Scuderia is as fast as Enzo on Muggelo race track so I guess it could be close to GT2 maybe faster, but Gallardo SL is IMO in lower performance class
