well if that wasn't obviuosly an Aston Martin PS'd with some Acura badges and TL design cues... I would say that would more likely be a new CL than the NSX replacer and now Honda is more likely going to drop in a V8 with all the new F1 regulations but definitely look for AWD.

I still think they should've continued to refine the HSC Concept we saw a few years ago. But again, they should've never let the NSX died like that.

Honestly, honda wont built any engine above 3 liter for their cars. If they need more power either they'll prolly built 1st pneumatic valve system for production cars or turbocharged the engine. They already show that with the RDX concept. Building big engine are just against their philosophy.... I think.

well that is funny considering they have both a 3.2 for years now and they also have a 3.5 both are single cam V6's except the NSX which had a dual cam 3.2... and the RDX is going to have a 4 cylinder turbo which people said Honda would never do...

Dude you get what i mean... Honda wont built big engines. A 3.2 or 3.5 were still consider small in todays car market. The turbo one was very interesting but it's not Honda's first turbocharged car. They did one back in the 80's with the City.

they could just save themselves the trouble and time and just bring back the HSC. That was a great looking car.

the fact that Honda is at the 300 hp level with their single cam 3.5 liter isn't exactly that impressive but it does show that they need to up the anty a little bit if they want to play with the big boys and straight from the reps mouth (unofficial I mind you) is that it will have either an 8 or 10 cylinder but they are leaning towards the 8 cylinder from what we have been told recently.

They just haven't got around to it yet.

Should be interesting to see what technology Honda will bring out with this new car. Remember VTEC revolutionized everything. The same was said back in the 80s during the development of the NSX. Everyone was saying how Honda had to do either Turbo or V8s to get the power, they came out with VTEC. Can't wait until the new one comes out.

But they'll need a guy like Senna to help develope it. Some how I don't think Jenson Button will cut it:

the 1st picture is a computer generated image made by Road and Track of what THEY think it will look like. New NSX is due 2009 I think, so Honda/Acura have no designs for the public yet.

That is just a wild guess of what the car make look like, I've presume the design won'y be anything revolutionary, maybe just a few cosmetic changes to the HSC concept.
