Yeah, I'm befuddled by the new BMW as well. At least it worked for the test driver.

Ferrari 1-2 for quali

so, US GP was a tell tale sign of things to come!



Truli is doin alright in 4th, and Ralf right behind... so maybe toyota is improving... the McLaren's down in 6th and 8th...

lets see what happens tomarrow

Don't forget Schumacher is set 10 places back because he changed the engine. Toyota seems strong, expect a close battle tomorrow.

edit - ackward I only heard it on dutch television, no site seems to comfirm it.

F1.com doesnt say that
F1live.com doesnt mention it
itv-f1 doesnt say anyting bout no engine change...

The commentator said Schumacher supposedly changed an engine during or after on of the first practices. Normally he's pretty well informed.

But indeed as said, can't find anything about it on the internet.

yeah .. his engine caught fire in the 3rd practice session ... i saw it ...... the exausts were throwing fire ...

@ lotus .. i was really bored when that thought came to my mind lol ...

yeah, but here's a little history with Trulli: As the race wears on, he loses focus and goes backward. Ralf is the only one with any kind of consistency but his pace is atrocious.
