this style lasted what... 20+ years without changing much? just the fact it was a V12 makes it cool... even if its quite unreliable

Nearly got a cool, but just somehow its not, its not that bad looking in some colours, but its still not cool can't really explain why

I had to vote this car up to sub zero. I'll concede it has its faults which you've all mentioned, but look at the good points. It was a successful racer in Europe and the US (which the XKE couldn't claim), the engine was masterfully engineered, and I still maintain its long, low profile gives it great lines. But- the first car I ever drove was a 6 litre XJS, so I may be just a wee bit biased.
