Sure enough, a tracktest of that importance has to be bigger! Shame...

Thanks anyway.

Very nice found TT, thanks. I´m also disapointed with the length of the article and with some lap times: I expected faster times of cars like the E30 Sport Evo and the M1.

thank you so much TT. I don't know how you manage to be first to reply in all JW threads and have time to find such good material online... you must have a T1000 connection!

What a great article. Thanks TT. Like everyone else I was disappointed that they took the time to assemble a great selection of cars but didn't do the article justice by providing more insights and details. I am at least grateful that they put the cars on the track and reported comparison lap times.

A couple of things stand out to me. First the difference in the lap speed of the M1 verses the newer cars. It shows the great improvements that have occurred over the years. Take for example the car ranked 11 (1995-99 M3 Evo Coupe). Both cars acceleration times are 0-60 in 5.5 seconds but the lap time difference is almost 10 seconds. That is a ton of time on a race track especially one as small as this one. Also, the article again shows the performance difference between the current version of the M3 and the CSL. Almost 5 seconds and in comparisons on the Nuerburgring the CSL is 32 seconds faster. The CSL is simply amazing.

Very nice article, TT. Just like everyone else, I wish that it wasn't so short. It's a good article though, getting straight to the point, laying out the strengths and weaknesses of each car without beating around the bush.
