Actually you can find EVO and Top Gear at Barnes and Noble stores all across the US...you just have to get there soon enough after the publish-date to actually find one. Evo has the best pictures for sure, but all around, I have to say that Autocar is the best magazine. They have coherent meaningful writers, something of a sense of humor, and some serious talent on their editorial staff, one Tiff Needell is on their payroll, and Steve Sutcliffe is a very accomplished racing driver, with a good bit of sense in his head when it comes to finance, and real-world practicality. Then of course there's Chris Harris...who has just bought himself a Lamborghini Gallardo 6speed manual, Black on black...that should prove interesting. hehehe

I'd have to go with evo. even at $12 CDN per issue its the best of ALL car magazines. the american magazines (ie R&T and car and driver) are terrible and review horrible cars, not to mention vans, wagons, and pickups! and dont even get me started w/ their writing. it's like reading a technical manual, where as the three british magazines mentioned have substance.

PS (to all north american wanting to suscribe to evo)
i was about to suscribe to evo at a eyewatereing (and wallet shrinking) $160CDN/year, but found that maxim is putting out 'americanized' versions(same minus some ads) for $6/issueCDN ($4 USD). unfortuantely neither maxim nor evo know that these issues exist....strange...
