Production BMW 1-Series tii? pics

Could it be? It seems like it. It looks pretty much like the show car except for the cool bonnet ridges, which have disappeared.

It'd be interesting to see what BMW would do with the tii, if it's really produced. It won't be an M model, nor is M division working on an M version of the 1-Series, other than in rumors.
