I feel for the new to be owners who were waiting to pick up the keys... And now have another 3 months or so to wait!!

But the article states BMW will fix and repair 'damaged' cars and then sell them as new. This is 100% not true, and flies in the face of BMW new-car policy.

I am sure they will just sell their cars as second-hand....depending on the damage. Or just fix them and send them to BMA driving school

I guess it's better late than damaged.

I hear that if the damage is not valued over a certain percent, that comapnies are allowed to fix them and sale them as new.

Apparantly there are many new cars that are sold as new, although they were fixed due to some shipping damage.
