How come that: 1 = 2 ???
is it Possible that:
1 = 2 ???
OK!!!
Let:
X = Y
Or
X - Y = 0 (equation 1)
Also:
2 ( X - Y ) = 0
Or
2 X - 2 Y = 0 (equation 2)
Since equation 1 + 2 are equal on
X - Y = 2 X - 2 Y
X - Y = 2 ( X - Y )
take out (X - Y) from both sides!
1 = 2
!!!!!!!

0/0 is undefined, that's why, right?

2*0 =0 or 3*0=0, anything multiplied with 0 is 0 , that's the "mistake" in above formula

Oh come on...this is pathetic. The only valid thing you can prove from the first equation is that a = b
Take
1=2
subtract 1 on both sides
1-1=2-1
0=1 not possible. Reduction ad absurdum.

a+b=b
... if a=b=1 then:
1+1=1
2=1

(a-b) is still 0 .... same problem

Yeah, you can't divide by 0. I was so happy when I worked it out the first time around a year ago whilst bored in maths, and then realised that it was just impossible. I'm sure you can use calculus to do fancy shit and get something like that.

lololol
i got a similar "mathematical" equation from a friend of mine, its in dutch so i'll try to translate it...
(1)To get a woman, you need time and money => [Woman=time*money]
(2)We all know, time = money
(3)Therefore, applying (2) to (1) => [woman=money*money] => [woman=money²]
(4)We also know money is the source of all problems => [money=√problems]
(5) If woman = money², that leads to: [woman=(√problems)²]=>simplify:[woman=problems]

no problems should be evil. money is the root of all evil. also the assumption the the fact that u need time and money and this equals time*money is invalid.

lol ofcourse its not a valid equation, its just a piece of fun it totally relies on the acceptance of those 3 assumptions, but thats not the point
