definitely ugly and uninspired

maybe it will flop and Porsche will realize they can't just make the front on every car they make similar to the 911 and hope it will sell.

Disgusting. It looks like they did exactly with DC did with the new Viper coupe. Slapped a coupes roof on a convertable...That thing is hideous, horrendous, horrid,..Lines are all wrong. Car has the presence of a Honda Civic...Looks like a dog dragging its ass after taking a shit. Wonder whats the price of such uglified putridness. Whats going on with German styling now-a-days....Have you seen the disgrace they call the new S class? And of course the continuing Bangling of BMW..yeeesh

well If it can oust the Boxster than we will have something since the boxster already outed the CGT and Enzo in the slalom from Road and Track.

I remember in one of the boxster video reviews, the host said "The main reason ppl think you buy the boxster is that u can't afford the 911" and I think with the cayman, this phrase is even more obvious.

I agree to that phrase, and given the choice, I will take a 911 anyday.

ok am i missing something here or are all you guys really discussing de Cayman S, of which the pics and specs were released over a month ago?

Powered by a 3.4-liter flat-six cylinder engine producing 295 hp and 250 lb-ft, the Cayman S will reach a top speed of 171 mph and accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds with the standard six-speed manual gearbox from the Boxster S. 0 to 60 takes an additional 0.7 seconds with the optional five-speed Tiptronic S manu-matic.
