I would buy the Ferrari. That is a beautiful car and the Mercedes is a taxi. But you can't compare these two cars.

575M for sure!! I think comparing these two cars is pointless, they are in totally different categories. I don't find the E55 AMG to be a propper supercar, coz it's a Merc. The 575M is beutifully styled by Pinifarina, and is a Ferrari, those two things make it an easy winner for me.

the Ferrari 575M Maranello.
It looks better, for starters, and has a grace and elegance that the Mercedes lacks.
I'm sure it's better to drive also, even though the Mercedes has a power advantage (somewhat negated by its weight).
Oh, and it's a Ferrari. They dont make Ferrari's, no matter how old they are, into Taxis. hehehe.

even though i don't get when or where the comparision would be made beyond this forum, THE FERRARI come even though the HP is similar its a V12 and its italian, need i say more
PS i love the new MB Eclass (mommie has a E320) but its so disconnect i would pick a wrx over it for driving

MERCEDES all the way, if you look at its amazing performance with that kinda
of weight it has to carry, I mean strip the mercedes and it will kill the ferrari.
Now don't get me wrong the 575m is hot but it will certainly not offer the same
kinda of technology and comfort as the 575m, and like the others said its pointless to compare two different worlds together. Their made for different purposes.

It has to be the Merc. Yes Ferrari's are more charismatic, but the 575 looks like a toyota or even Daniella Westbrook's nose from the front! For me a 500bhp bahnstormer would do..

I would definitley choose the Ferrari 575M I will not follow my head but my heart. The E55 is a great car you can use it anytime and have ppl in the backseats but I love the 575M too much to dismiss it. I love the sound the way it looks the name the engine!!!

The E55 is not only about how much ppl you can carry, I mean I don't
think ppl who buy the Merc, buy it so that they can carry ppl in it.
And as for the noise, both are nice but the Merc sounds like there is a raging
war going on.
