thanks for the pics, they sure look good.
However good this game will be I still wish there was a greater emphasis on the Euro cars instead of the Japanese ones.....in others words I WANT Ferrari and Lambo.

Ok cool.
You guys gotta rember that this is a Playstation 2 game so this game is putting the ps2 to its limit.
No Ferrari,Lamborghini,Porsche because EA has the liscense and on their contract it says only EA are allowed to use the models from the car companys stated above. I will replace those same pics in thumbnail form so its 56K friendly. 
*EDIT* ok time for me too sleep but here is the last pic for today. Only 10 45 over here but kinda tired today.

i have to disagree with u on that one.. to me. i havnt seen a picture of a car that looks worse then gt3.. everything just improved,, specially the background
i will be enjoying gt4 in a few day...pirate version.. lol.. which i think should be alot of stuff cut out... since the offical game is over 9gb

 You just cant wait eh? I was thinking bout getting one off ebay but then I was like i dont know how to read Japennesse! So I will just wait. Oh and please do help us out in this thread with pictures and question if anyone has them.

well I have spent some time reading through the 40+ pages at gtplanet to see what cars are in it - pretty good even without the big Italian makes.
We still get to drive the M5, M3 CSL, Zonda, Ford GT, Saleen S7, RS6, RUF R Turbo....etc.
It seems only 2 Aussie cars (Typhoon F6 and SS Commodore) made it into the game which is disappointing, though we may get a Monaro variant (Vauxhall or Pontiac).

See - they pulled the C5 Z06 from the game because it was kicking the R34's ass everywhere..  ehehe
So - basically the car list is not truly representative of the milestone cars anymore.
Rather sad really.
As time progresses I am becoming more jaded towards GT4, and may end up not buying it afterall.
The delays, combined with the lack of essential cars over time - and the fact that GT3 has unlimited potential with Hybrid cars.
I bought PGR2 just for the Nordschleife.. what a disappointment... and the 'Ring in GT4 is a nice attraction, but not being able to take an F355 or a P911TT around the ring is a huge factor.
I am almost secretly hoping that GT4 fails..

RC45 - they do have the z06 in the game. i have a screenshot of it. That site maybe suffering from lack of updates lol, they have 2 1964 corvetter convertible listed there for christ's sake.
wut's fucked up and totally bullshit is that they have these:
- 1969 camaro z28 and SS
- Chevelle SS
- Dodge charger
- Dodge charger superbee
- Pontiac GTO
- plymouth cuda
- plymouth superbird
AND NOT A SINGLE OLD SCHOOL MUSTANG, ONE OF THE BIGGEST AUTOMOTIVE ICON.
WTF IS WRONG WITH THESE FUCKERS.

You sure about the 2001 C5 Z06? Not the C2 1963 split-window Z06... while a milestone car, it is only competitive with cars of it's own era.
Any links to the C5 Z067 (or even C6 Vette?)

Ok everyone calm down! 
First let me straight things out to wipe that mad look off you face. THERE WILL INDEED BE OLD SCHOOL MUSTANG AND of course your Vette RC . Rember that the list at GTP is not yet fully updateing meaning they might have left out a few cars. BUt trust me your Vette HAS to be in. I have seen pics too! Ok enouhg of me talking let me upload some pics. I got about 49 pics to upload! I know you will love it! Now it might take me an hour or so depending on how long imageshack will take but please be patient! I am gonna upload them all in one post or maybe I will make 2 since my comptuer was fucking up today or you could have had these pictures right now! Ok I will be back in an hour hopefully.
