He seems to have a pretty good awareness of his size though which is impressive at spots.

I would say that although he clearly has plenty of 'skill' controlling the position of his bike, he is comfortable with '0' margin for error.

I would be very surprised if he will be able to make many more of these videos, and the Moscovites will be safer for it...

The gaps are bigger than they look, yes he is aware, but he can't be aware of something unusual happening ahead of him and not being able to stop/turn in time. Also the drivers he's passing might react unnecessaryily to him and cause an accident. If you want o go that fast on the road, do it on an empty road and if you want to see skill on 2 wheels, watch moto GP
