Nope.... this was just released by a guy I know, it doesn't make anything much differnt for the user, its the people you chat with that get the effect... as your talking my name will change with each message I send to you (refresh) LOL Ive used it off and on and find its really good, also has video confrencing built in and will log to file all chat sessions dam the list goes on and on.... most of the options are added to the tool menu if you didnt open it you wouldnt know it was any differnt.

yes thats what I meant..."its great until your VICTIM gets it as well" meaning that you then have to put up with them changing their name and having to watch all their shit they are sending to you as you have been to them...
theres a few of these around now...some of the more useful features I have seen as well include being able to send a much longer message and the all important file resume for failed transfers...

ICQ
Im sporting ICQ as my favorite... i like the good old non-annoying messages that blink... im not all that big on scrolling chat programs although I have Trillian (dont use it), Y!, MSN and AIM. The thing i like about ICQ is its traditional IMing at its best.. not IRCing like MSN etc. With ICQ you can be slack without being rude The Y! protocol is interesting if anyone codes interesting with its challenge string authentication

I use AIM, but MSN messenger is much better for Transfers. And ICQ licks horse balls.

I use ICQ to transfer files, there's the resume function and it's very useful.
I also have MSN and I use it sometimes...now I'll tri AIM and then install Trillian

Trillian my good man. It basically combines the most popular message services into one. When you log into Trillian, you simultaneously log into each account you have set up, using your existing account info. Been using it for a long while and I can't complain.
Here is the link. XyKo threw it up on the first page, I guess you missed it.

using msn and icq on trillian. a word of warning since switching to 2.0 i've been missing a lot of msn msg, and a lesser number of icq msgs. so if u're thinking of switching over use 1.0 or the free one 0.75 or something
