Is it me or is taking (for instance) your stock 1960's 4 speed Jaguar E type out for a blast around the 'ring just as much fun, if not more than a modified, modern, 1000hp beast?

I think it's down to almost all the classic are so light n nimble and compared to most of the modern cars handle so much better than most of their modern counterparts....

Am I alone on this?

Maybe we should have a classics 'ring championship?

I have the 65' Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA tuned to 240bhp and its the best damn car so far , much more fun than any of the modern cars especially at the ring, so you might just be right

There is a Mini Cooper 1.3i, I've seen in it in the car list. And, an exclusive Mini Marcos, that for the ones who don't know, is a special "race" car with fiber glass body and Mini mechanics.

. The marcos bodied minis look pretty cool, sadly this one that came 15th in the 1966 Lemans was stolen after the race

How about trying to reinact that race

That would be the NTSC-J car list then, IIRC, the old shape mini is only in the Japanese version of GT4
