Some drivers say that although the track is very well lit, there are some parts which are still quite dark. With rain, that would be very dangerous... yet I still want a wet race

After setting the fastest laps on practice 2 and 3, Alonso's engine fails him in Q2. Massa's pole lap was brilliant, purple in all sectors.

Default Heidfeld hit with grid penalty
Nick Heidfeld will lose three places on the grid of tomorrow's Singapore Grand Prix after being hit with a penalty.
The German driver, who had qualified in sixth position, will now drop to ninth after the stewards deemed he had impeded Honda's Rubens Barrichello during the first qualifying segment.
The incident occurred when Barrichello caught up with Heidfeld when the BMW Sauber driver was coming into the pitlane.
Barrichello, meanwhile, was fined 10,000 Euro for not using the deceleration zone when diving into the pits after being slowed down by Heidfeld.
