New Forza 2 Pictures Updated 3-15-07

They look good but no offense I think the Gran Turismo has it beat in the Graphics department. I mean just look at the poorly done interior and driver! I hope they improve this although they said this is close to the final build... Also there will be I think around 300 or less cars in the Forza 2. Correct me if I am wrong.

Apparently they want to make a "huge" deal out of the fact they have different ambience.

It's because each environment in Forza Motorsport 2 features its own unique ambience, tuned to a vision established by Turn 10's art director John Wendl and executed on by his art team. So for instance, Tsukuba has a searing high dynamic range mid-afternoon sun-baked exposure, while Mugello looks lush and green, almost cool to the touch.

Well thats nice but I want to know what they got to go up against Gran Turismo dynamic weather? Kinda makes sense to have a 24 hour long endurance race huh? I mean changing weatehr, Day or Night, Sunny, Cloudy, or rain! I just hope they hold true to their words.

yeap, I was hoping for a "more" photorealistic environment like GTHD but they didnt come as near as Polyphony, I think PGR3 looks better...

But well I hope that they make a great game like the first one..

Yeah this is no way better than PGR3. I think its a sick joke. Either way I dont mind it as then the GT fans get to bragg about photorealistic graphics such as this one BUT Forza 2 fans can bragg about being able to add some body kits and Lamborghini and Porsche....so I guess it sorta equals out? I just want to see a picture of Forza's Ferrari 599 GTB go against the 599 GTB of GTHD THE DEMO. Then we shall see the truth rite before our very own eyes.

Neither one will be great without support for proper force feedback steering wheels like the G25.

The FM2 pics look overstaturated like the PGR3 images.

The track surface looks so fake, the rims on the Enzo from top view looks 2D.

Yea, the Gran Turismo series tends to have more of a polish on their games but Forza drives so much better that I don't really care. If only Forza had as many cars.

Im dissapointed how it looks. GT5 looks better and I wouldnt be suprised if PGR4 blows them both away but what bothers me most is that the truth is the physics (sp) in Forza are scientifically proven to be more realistic than Gran Turismo, also of all the vids ive seen of the new GT the sound effects are still god awful! How can you expect me to drive an endurance race in something that sounds like a lawn mower with a turbo charger. It drives me mad!

Im waiting to see some F2 vids before I make my final verdict

I was "driving" GTL and GTR2 again this weekend... and there is NOTHING like powering a car around a classic track like Bathurst with the G25 cranked to decent feedback levels and the emersion of 3 pedlas and an H-gate... (switch to sequential when the car requires it )

I don't see how the pathetic XB360 wheel and 720p could come close to the G25 and an Aussie V8SuperCar at 1920x1080...

I think the console devs are clutching as straws again.

At least Sony.PD had the Logitech wheel and photorealism... all M$ and Forza had was "online" play

Well Forza WILL NOT have interior VIEW but what I was refering to is in the enzo pic when you see the driver it just looks crap and the seats in another of those pic looks crap as well.

Forza has online and force feedback Also GT will have online but we will see how well that goes.

Well for your information I never commented that Forza sucks or is shit or any stupid shit like that because of those MINOR details they got wrong. All I said was

So STFU if that what you said was directed to me if not then just ignore this post. Also just a note I did NOT spot out this minor detailing they got wrong, actual Forza fanboys/fans/Players spotted this. Shit I am not really gonna downgrade Forza until I see some final shots.

Im not going to make my decision till I buy the game. Everyone is saying it will suck because it dosnt have a proper wheel and the best graphics known to man and such. When did we start caring more about graphics rather then game play? I'm just going to buy the game, then make my decision as to if it is a good game.

And I have been using the game pad for Forza and it is just fine, perhaps not the most realistic, but still good fun.
