Probably because they knew they didn't have the pace, so there was no point in wasting the tires. Ferrari on the other hand had a legit shot at it, and nearly pulled it off.

Great run by Raikkonen, glad to see my #2 guy on pole, and my #3 in P2.

lol @ the 2 second penalty, shouldn't it be 1 sec ??
or is it cause he overtook 2 cars, and if you overtake 2 cars under yellow flag during the race do they give you 2 drive thru penalties ??

Anyways, this just makes the race more exciting, and hes still 5 spots ahead of Alonstronzo.
If he could finish 5th starting last in Monaco...

Button is getting a 10 spot penalty, so that bumps Schumacher up to 11th place... If Massa gets the jump on Kimi, Schumacher has a damn good chance of getting himself on the podium.

I wonder if MS going for light fuel load or heavy one....... I hope it will be a light one so we can see some on track passing...same goes for FA.

Kimi's running on fumes. He'll pit on lap 5.

Considering the lack of overtaking opportunities here, and Ferrari's outright speed, I'd go for a 2 stopper and hope that the car is capable of picking off at least 4 cars off the start of the grid. Trust in the pace of the car and hope for the best as other cars peel off into the pits, opening the road for him.

It'll definitely be interesting...

Jesus, what an incredible lap by Schumi

Its going to be an exciting race. I'm betting on Massa winning the GP, because Kimi just doesn't have the race pace. As for MS and FA, I'm guessing MS will definitely get a podium finish. As for FA, a lot will depend on DNFs, because lets face it, he just doesn't have the pace to beat MS and FM.

If Masa can overtake Kimi in the start and then manage the pace and help Schumi to maximize's the extra fuel, there may still be a chance for ferrari 1 2

Someone needs some downers...

Bridgestone really shot themselves in the foot this weekend with their wet/inter tires, absolutely pathetic. Schumacher is the highest running Bridgestone shod car right now, and he's in 8th place. Complete and utter failiure on their part.

As for the race, much like every other wet race, it's just ridiculous and filled with accidents.

Hardly anything amazing about passing cars that can barely stay on the track thanks to their tires by the way.
