8:09 is a good time on the NR for a sedan, it beats the M5 and is not far from the Porsche 997 Carrera S

the RS4 in this test was equipped with the extra options such as ceramic brakes for 5800 euro, sportchassi for 650 euro and the Pirelli P Zero Corsa which also is an extra option.
Makes me wonder how fast a RS4 would be without the extra options, probably slower. They should have tested two versions.

I actually think it's OK to test the cars with factory options. As long as it's not aftermaket. You can buy the RS4 with this spec from the factory so I see no probs with it even if I don't like that it beat the M5

of course its alright to test it, it wasnt my point but they could have tested two different versions, they have done it with other cars so why not with Rs4?
Dont you agree with me? I would love to see the difference...

i smell cheat.. Since the new S4 is very stiff, i would say too stiff, RS4 is more so, well what will be the new RS4 with optional sport suspension. Then the brakes, should beat the csl since CF, but no, and optional cup tires. Well i hope there will be also normal version, the sport suspension is not in finnish optionlist, neither are the brakes or tires.

really impressive.......the one I sat in at the auto show did not have the same seats or the same steering wheel as shown in this article. I guess the european version gets more toys and we in north america get the dulled down version oh well , what's new.
