It's a 1991 S2, 3.0. The owner I bought it from said they were turbo twist wheels (cup 3) but I think they are actually off of a Boxter..

I treat her right too.. but the thing is, I still feel a Japanese car is a better daily driver. Granted I've only owned two used Germans, I've grown up beating on Toyotas.

German cars you HAVE to maintain. If you do, you're golden. If you don't, all hell will break loose and you'll pay up the ass.

A Japanese car will take the beating, sometimes break, and all you gotta do is fix what broke.. also parts/labor are cheaper.

It should be really interesting. Who would build the car? Glickenhaus said that he's not converting the P4/5 made for him by Pininfarina.

Would Pininfarina make him another P4/5? Would he hire someone else to fabricate the car?

It would have to be a ground up fabrication, not based on any production chassis - CF tubs are not allowed.

Actually, he can possibly build it on a MC12 race car, itself based on the Enzo.

Because when you buy an FXX or an FXX Evo, you have no control of your car. Ferrari does. And FXX isn't made for racing either, so why bother? MC12 Corsa is the most logical choice if it's going to be based on an Enzo platform, no?

CF tubs are not allowed in the specific race series; however there will be an existing Ferrari chassis made of aluminum, and modified with a steel cage where the rules dictate. Rumors suggest a 333sp V12 may be used in the unknown existing ferrari based race chassis; but a v8 seems more likely.

Also, it is being made / prepped by a former PF employee, and will likely not carry the Ferrari badge, or PF badge, but who knows!
