A little idling, a little smokin, a little fly by, a little acceleration... and a lot of fun.

I am figuring if I can't go light on the loud pedal then doesn't matter what tyres I put uot back they will melt away...

So I want to try keep to a set a season like I always have. I seem to get about 10,000 miels to a set of GY F1 SC's... I could use up a set of softer tyres in a weekend probably hehe

I was going to do just a little burnout, and the it got going and I thought abouttrying to kick it around but I was going a little faster than anticipated - so I just trid to get it to grip and try goign forward again..

Mindful that it's real easy to end up in a ditch... hehe

I am quite surprise actually, 10k miles sound pretty descent considering all that power and ur occasionaly heavy right foot

Yeah...got into a little fender bender 2 years ago during a snow storm (remember I post earlier I didnt use snow tires lol)...oh well, that help alittle. But even without that little thingy it will still cost 7~8k a year. Toronto is not the easiest place to own a fast car.

$2200 a year for me.. that's both cars

Yeah - the Z06 is really the best allround sports car for me.

Cheap to buy, cheap to insure, cheap to run, cheap to mod - and goes like stink.

The overall cost of ownership of Viper, Porker, Beemer, Benz etc is just way more than I am willing to spend for my 4 wheeled thrills.

2200 sounsd about right... my rate is coming down seriously in less then 1 year now... so when i turn 24; and finances willing... something like a Z is heading my way... but, i always have a soft spot in my heart for the 911... my rate for my jeep at 23 is less then 1700$ full coverage... 1 more year... (with my current insurance agent) 8)

i could 'hear' your clutch in/out action in those takeoffs

Yeah - 1100 per year for the Z and 1100 per year for the Contour.. go figure.

Well - I prefer not to post it for the entire world to get through a free website. JW is about the closest I can get to "controlled" release hehe

BTW, seems that you almost lost the car in the second burnout!!
The "second burnout" is really the same as the "first" just from a different angle...

I had all the electronic nannies turned off there - normally I keep ActiveHandling on.. which tries very hard to prevent thos situtions.. but with no electronic interventin the tyres just melt away and you try point it where you want to go hehe

You're always on the edge... so you leave it till you think you can steer out of it... then when you see God you let off the gas regain grip, straighten and go

I am always mindful that the next silly activity could so easily throw me into a ditch..

geez you Yanks get ripped off!!!

Your paying $1700 USD a year for a Jeep? I pay about half that for the WRX, and I'm the same age and its considered a "risky" car.

EDIT

------------------

That thing sounds brutal!!!! Nice launches too, I can't quite create that much smoke.... ops:
