I have a question for you TT, how do you go about saving the picture? Do you just use 'save-as' or 'Save for web' and what quality settings do you typically set it too

Oh I always use the save for web thing, and the quality well, it depends.. for most pics I save at 50%.. garages/dealerships pics wich are less "busy" can be saved easily at 60 or 70 and still have a decent size, but anyway I try not to go beyond 500 kb for my pics since I don't have unlimited webspace

I was wondering something: is there a way to insert a watermark so that the distance from the edge/side of the pic is always the same?

Crop? I just cut the selection or copy it and then open a new window which automatically opens at the size of the selection.. i dont really worry about the image size really... but i rarely crop my images soo.....

anyways thanx for the hints.. although some of the process seemed a bit pointless when comparing the b4 n after pics..

Yes you are right, if you look step by step it may seems pointless, but well, the final result is composed by many small touches

As for the resizing vs copy/paste thing, yes basically the same

There are programs that do batch or mass resizing yes, but they don't do any sharpen I fear, so IMO it's better to invest some more time but still do them one after the other manually

Stellar Tutorial. Greatly appreciated, and definitely a thread I'm going to have to visit again and again. I actually used it for the first time yesterday with pretty good results.

First advice for night shots, the white balance setting on "auto" screws up sometimes.. better put it on "artificial light"

I got the blue sky because the scene was dark, in your pic there are many other lights ence the sky can't be seen proprely

I can't post the original pic of the Murci, I never keep them... but for the murci it didn't change a lot actually

And of course different cameras take different pics

BTW, the Porsche is probably just a carrera with GT3 wing

One thing, can someone give advices how to make watermarks, different types, like from seethru to solid images (not boxy pic over pic I can do it myself). Thanx.
