Akmon,

why don't you just 'google' around a bit and do a search on ' rotary engine'
If you use alltheweb dot com you will even find some vids

It's quite simple, but I wanted to know the opinions of the guys from the forum because I saw that they really know very much, and I'm not very fond of knowing great amounts of useless data

If it's useless, then why do you want to know?

well rotary engines produce a lot of bhp goes to high raves but they consume alot and lets just say that they are not so reliable.....anyway from what i know this type of engine is the best for cosuming other type of fuel as hydrogen...so when the oil criss comes we may go for this engines...

Here's a link to "New Wave Sports Cars" from this month's R&T. On Pages 6 & 7 there is info on the hydrogen Rx-8. Only 110hp

http://www.roadandtrack.com/article....ber=1&preview=

I would provide scans of the actual article, but no scanner.

RENESIS is not the FIRST wankel... it is the latest one..

the first production of the wankel by mazda was back in the 1962. called the Cosmo.

and then, in the 1970's. the rx100, rx-3 was sold to around the world.

and in 1979, mazda's infamous rotoray RX-7 was revealed.
the RX-7 died in japan in 2002. it legendary RX-7 represented mazda for it was the ONLY wankel engine car from 79 onwards. and ONLY successful wankel.

the mazda rx-7 had great performance, and is well known to all. the styles and cues are fantastic from exterior to interior design. the FR layout gives the rx wonderful sport car configuration. the little RX7 competed with rivals such as NSX, SUPRA, GT0 (3000GT). i
