A class action would be difficult because there are too many different causes of action and each case can be easily distunguished on the facts. This isn't your simple, "your shithouse microwave spontaneously combusts, burning down all our kitchens, therefore, we're all suing you". Besides, with shitloads of lawsuits coming in, Bill Heard will probably just go "Ah, fuck it", and give them their cars back, with fat cheques included, which is all the folks want.
