You even hate the Type R models?
I know what you mean though. In england nearly all hondas are bought by pensioners or sales reps. DULL

Simple...in my country Honda civics are 21st century tree huggers...meaning that when they crash they usually are wrapped around trees....and most hooligans in my country drive Type-Rs...I personally Smoked some of them with my SUV just 2 shut them up....hate em'....keep revving their engines at traffic lights

I know the type, over here in England they mostly drive Vauxhall/Opel Corsa's and the sort.

The old Volvo 850s, and the old S-Class. Just simply boring. The old A6 design was boring as hell too.

This isn't a poll - just post your suggestion, and if possible a picture, to benefit those of us who aren't up on american cars, or americans who aren't up on european models and vice-versa.
So please post:
:arrow: The make and model of car
:arrow: If possible a picture
:arrow: some performance figures (again if possible)
:arrow: and a few choice selections from the equipment list!

I'm with you Tom, on the Econoboxes. I'd have to go one further than the Bluebird, at least the Nissan can be said to be reliable, being the choice of Mini-cab (taxi) drivers in the UK during the 90's even if it is dull as you rightly state. 84hp from a 1.6l motor? Just check out the specs for my choice...
To the readers of JW, I proffer the British Leyland Morris Ital...bastard child of BL and Italdesign...
:arrow: British :cry: Leyland Morris Ital
:arrow: 0-60 - yes, but preferably pushed off the top of a cliff
:arrow: Ergonomically designed interior - oh just see the link below, it pains me to write any more about this 'thing'...

Nice choice, but you can get to the point where a car is so shockingly crap, that it actually becomes interesting rather than just dull.

weight = bloody heavy
0-100 = who cares its a commodore
hp = see above
I see roughly 50 to 60 of these things EVERYDAY! They're about as exciting as a sack of soggy weetbix. Why people buy them I don't know...they depreciate faster than you can say "jezuz that car is shit-house"
I'd rather be beaten around the head with a large stick than ever own ones of these things... I've driven the 2003 V8 SS model and well...it was dissapointing to say the least...

If thats the dullest car you've ever seen you haven't seen many cars. How about an AU Falcon for dull, that was(is) a piece of crap looking car. All those things you stated about the Commodore apply to pretty much every other 4-door sedan in Australia (or the world), e.g. Magna, Falcon, Camry...... If you really have driven the SS please explain why exactly is was so disappointing.
What does a centrelink form have to do with the Commodore, if your implying that most Commodore owners are on the dole then you better do some more research....or just think about those POS old rusty Falcons driving around and think where those 'people'(I won't offend anyone so I'll leave it at people) get their income from.

Nooouu! Ladas are exciting Old ones are RWD and all you need is a frozen lake to make them go sideways And they even had starting crank, that just can't be boring.
|
Thats my point. I think i'd agree with you, just because a car is really crap that doesnt make itn dull. In fact, the really shit cars are dam intresting - theyre funny almost. Dull cars arent necessarily bad cars, they are just perfectly average at EVERYTHING they do, they are bland. You would notice a really crap car like a lada or a trabant cos they are so woeful, theyre funny, but you wouldnt notice something like a vauxhall corsa or nova, becuase while they might be a reasonable car, they are just dull - no interesting or exciting features whatsoever.
