It was hidden in a box at the F1 paddock. But it went out on every free lap occasion.

The 'polarizer effect' is achieved by physically attaching a polarizer filter to your camera - not through some software editing.

Loved the F40's and specialy the F430 with black wheels ( I'd never seen one like this, and it looks great ) and the 360 CS ( I really really love this car )

I'm pleased you guys like the pics. But you'll still have to be a bit patient, cause I'm nowhere near finished with editing the pics

A Nikkor 18-70 DX lens. But I'm considering buying an extra zoom lens with a bigger max focal length for the action shots taken further away.

Did you use a tripod for these pics? I assume since it was pretty dark and also using the filter it would have meant that the shutter speed would be fairly slow already?

Nope. And yes it was pretty dark with the pola filter. So I used a larger aperture opening as usual and higher ISO values (a bit too high I fear for the pics taken inside the pitboxes). But this way I could keep the shutter speed at reasonable levels
