Default Porsche and NASCAR?

You bet. In the latest issue of Excellence magazine Porsche plans on entering the Panamera into the US's largest market NASCAR. Driver has already been selected and will be factory team.

^^^How low can Porsche go for money ??? :bad:

I thought Cayenne and Cockster are enough, but it looks like greed it`s the main word for Porsche.

RC, has it right. NASCAR makes crap loads off sponsors and the sponsors make crap loads off the fans. Yeah F1 here in Europe is huge but with 11(22 cars) teams compared to 40+ NASCAR in the States and 18 F1 races compared to 41 NASCAR in a season the money is in the bank for NASCAR.

Porsche must do what it has to do to stay at the top and be independent. Not like the ever so mighty Ferrari or Lamborghini

...and as long as they keep making cars like the GT3 then so what if a it means a 4 door sedan, SUV and NASCAR... -- right?

Can't wait till Ferrari, Lamborghini and Aston Martin follow Porsche into NASCAR

Lamborghini? The company that's had to be rescued from bankruptcy more times than I expel gas after a mexican buffet? Hell, they were even saved once by Chrysler of all people. Right now they're under the care of Audi, so yea, mighty and independant they are most certainly not.

Porsche on the other hand, is independant, and has currently just bought even more into Volkswagen.

In terms of success, Porsche >>>>>>>>>>> Lamborghini

Sorry if I misunderstood.

Part of the success of Porsche is that they keep anticipating on future market developments. The built of the Cayenne f.e deemed not to be necessary at the time, but making such a impopular decision kept Porsche financially healthy. Look at the success of that Cayenne, best selling Porsche right now.
