Nice

The custom shot should be with the car... TT might let it fly with just the key fob.

By the way, what part of Canada has grass and liquid water? I thouhgt everything north of the border is always ice and snow?

Oh - one more thing?

Why did you get the '05 Coupe instead of a '04 or older Z06?

I am still trying to figure out what the attraction of a slower, heavier and more costly car is?

Hopefully your car is a 6spd - so it's only half-poofta hair-dresser.

The weather isn't all snow and ice thats only from Dec-April, and I prefer the styling of the new Vette to the older ones, besides by the time I'm done with this one there will be few cars that will be able to outperform it.

Welcome about and thanks for the custom shot, we would appreciate if you could take the one with owner manual on the car asap, but this one will do for now I guess :bah:

Nice car, even if I don't dig too much the wheels

Sweet ride.. I'll probably be the first to say that I actually like the rims.. it matches the car quite nicely especially with the top off

so what else do you got planned for it?

Welcome to JW. Great color on the car. The new style does look good, but I was/am always fond of flip headlights.

Thanks for the pictures.

RC: She actually does corners pretty decent right now, I'll post up some Auto-X pics when I get home. Suspension wise I'll probably add some beefier sway bars and some true coil overs (C6-R).

nthfinity: The ducts aren't functional as of now, but I will be making them functional in the future when I do my brake upgrade

TT: Thanks for allowing the post to stay on this page. I can get a pic of the car with the keys on it but it will have the car cover on it partially if thats alright.

To everyone else: Thanks for the comments! I was contemplating on powdercoating the centres black but I'm having a hard time picturing it on that shade of orange.

Current Mods:

Halltech Stinger Induction System
Dynatech Supermaxx Header System
Magnaflow Axle Back Exhaust System
Avus AF-501 3 piece forged rims
Fronts are running on Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 245/35/19 Rears with 335/30/20
Breathless Flared Rear Fenders
Carbon Fibre Rear Splitter
Clarion Deck with Sirius Sat Radio
Audison Amp, Focal Speakers and Subs
And some misc. minor cosmetics

Future mods:
For now I'm just planning on adding a Supercharger and Heads for performance
I'll probably end up with the Z-06 Brakes unless I can find an 8 piston front caliper
Suspension was mentioned above.

Thats about it for this ride. I'll probably be doing similar engine mods to my new toy which will be a TrailBlazer SS since my Escalade was stolen a couple of weeks ago. I'll have pics of that as well when I finally pick it up.

when i read you had magnaflow exhaust, i was almost 100% sure you were going the supercharger route, which of course you are... IMO they hurt the sound of a N/A motor, but add to it under S/C conditions (well, in any case, its still better then stock )

something i spotted earlier this year about 15 minutes drive the GM proving grounds... and is still somewhat unknown, save a 2 or so forums... and conticorvettes' website.

those wheels/brakes combo are well.... C6 Z = awsome... and the black looks amazing but is just for muel puroposes.

The supercharger is something that yoiu will never regret. It's like driving a whole new car.

I have the ATI Procharger Twin innercooled D-1SC with headers, cat back, etc..

The sound and power are very streetable and it's still a very reliable setup.

^^^^ Yes, but in all honesty, with the C5, the diference in power between 6500 and 7000 is hardly noticable at all. I very rarely alow the car to go past 6250 before shifting anyway..Except on the strip of course, where I've found absolutely no difference in times between shifting at 6500 and 7000.
