1998 VW Polo 1.4
As mentioned here already, I sold my bumped and cracked Renault 19 and replaced it with something much better
It's a 1998 VW Polo 1.4 5-door, black, BBS rims, "Open Air" roof, 76k km's, looks pretty mint, used to be my moms (so a very well maintained car with known history), bought it from her for a special price
Reason I haven't posted it earlier is because the weather is miserable here right now, so I have only one picture shot from my window
And here's the custom shot:
You see JW scrteenshot, my carkey and a part of my car papers, I assume it is sufficient for the time being.
More later

Congrats, Lotus! I'm sure it's an improvement over your R19. I like the wheels and it sure does look to be in great shape! You don't see them often with this roof.

well, congrats Lotus!!! i really like that polo with that rims and open air roof ( in spain we call it solar roof ).
If its a exmom car maybe youll have to make a running in ( a try to mean in spanish rodaje, is it okay antonio or dani...) cause im sure its going have less power than it should have. mom dont push and as we say in spain, the car "se amaricona", its like to say the car gets gay ... im sure you knew this but told you anyways!!!
Very nice!!! Congrats again!!

It's high on its wheels indeed, but I don't think dropping it is wise when you live in the city.
Clear indicators are a good idea, and a CD player is in the planning (a bit strapped for cash right now). I keep the Polo logo, I strangely like that.
Which reminds me, ever modified yours? It looked a bit basic when you bought it...

Not bad. I like your rims.
Angel eyes are popular around here, but I prefer the stock look. Don't like cars too modified...

Nice car! Interesting concept. Don't think they sold open airs in Aus.

First "mod", although it is just a little upgrade. I bought a CD-player to get that ancient piece of radio out of my car.
Sony XPlod CDX-R3000. Nothing too fancy, as I'm not too interested in an all out hifi-system in my car, but it's heaps better than what I had
IRL pictures will follow in due time 8)
