I have been warned to "try it first" - aparently it plays like a bucket of crap being thrown into a hurricane wind while your mouth is held open with reverse-forceps.

It looks like it plays like PGR2, and if it does + has a good online "Race" community, than it will be worth it... I'm not holding my breath.

If it plays like PGR2 or PGR3 then it will be great for community get togethers - if it plays like that GRiD then I will avoid it.

Ok - I have just heard from PC simracing aquaintance that Shift is pretty damn good fo rwhat it is. Very well worth the demo download and maybe worth the purchase if you want.

But it is not crap - but rather amazingly good for a N4S title - very much a throwback to their glory days.

Better, it has been presented to me as being almost as good as rFactor just with tyres that seem to not wear out, but a very good physics engine with very good physics behaviour.

Even NFS HP II had a good arcade feel to it; hmm... wow, I haven't played that in forever and a half... I wonder if I still even have it!
